My name is Sébastien Gionet (he/him), and I am a second-year Ph.D. student specializing in cognitive psychology. I have been part of the Cognitive Sciences Lab at the Université de Moncton since 2020, working under the supervision of Dr. Jean Saint-Aubin, Ph.D. 

My research primarily focuses on understanding the mechanisms underlying our ability to remember verbal and visuospatial information. I am interested in developing a comprehensive account of memory that can explain how our memory operates across various tasks. I am also interested in the practical applications of cognitive science research and on determining how our knowledge of memory can be applied to educational and clinical settings.
